Julie graduated from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles, CA. in 1993. However, after becoming a mom she made a personal choice to do just that, and her dream of having a fashion career took a back seat. As life took its course, in 2009 she began medical school to become an Eastern Medicine doctor. This was on track as planned, but after receiving the life-changing experience of being diagnosed with breast cancer - her perspective of life changed. Only one year before she graduated from medical school, she decided to pursue her true dream to be in the fashion world. With the unconditional love and support of her husband, they decided to start Bravery and Company®.
Julie's crafting of Native American regalia and ceremonial projects remains her passion and is now incorporated in Bravery and Company products. From design, to the creation of the pattern, to the cut of leather, and every stitch.....with love inspiring its creation, each resides in Julie’s heart and intent, every step of the way.
Billy has ever 20 successful years in executive leadership for Fortune 100/500 companies. He oversaw many facets of business organization, but most importantly his passion is behind his reason for being in business in the first place; taking care of people. One of his greatest contentions with the corporate world is it's swift ability to forget about the people while focusing primarily on the dollar. He believes when leaders become detached from co-workers and customers, failure to remember how we can best make a difference in the marketplace and for each other is eminent.
Billy's fight is to bring Bravery and Company® to life, and to support Julie's dreams to design and create all that comes from her heart. Combining his work/life experiences, competitive spirit, desire to help others and his lifelong dream to own a business with his family, magnifies that effort.
